Wellness in mind, body and spirit is important to your success at university. The Campus Health Centre is staffed by trained service providers (family physicians, personal counsellors, registered nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists and wellness educators). The following are some of the services available to you through Nipissing’s Health Services.
You can meet with a medical team at the Campus Health Centre. Health services that you can access include emergency care, annual physical exams, immunizations and referrals.
Student Counselling Services support your mental and emotional well-being throughout your academic journey at university. Attending university can be an exciting and challenging experience. Student life often involves long hours, too little sleep, too much caffeine and a changing environment. Sometimes coping with one or more of these stressors can be a lot to handle. Nipissing offers you free and confidential personal counselling by appointment to help you lead a healthier and more balanced life.
