Wellness in mind, body and spirit is important to your success at university.
The Student Wellness Centre (SWC) is staffed by trained service providers (family physicians, personal counsellors, registered nurses, psychologists, psychiatrists and wellness educators).
The following are some of the services available to you.
Student Wellness Centre (SWC)
The SWC aims to address your wellness needs. It gives you a wide range of counselling options, medical services and wellness education. If you need medical services, you can access nurses, doctors, sports medicine, naturopaths and mental health nurses on campus.
If you need to talk to someone, you can set up an appointment with a counsellor to explore support options and decide the next best steps. These could include individual counselling services, a community referral or connections to community/campus resources.
Visit the SWC for more information about McMaster’s well-being services.
Visit the Indigenous Studies Program Office for information about the cultural aspects of health.
