Student Life

Overview

At university, you can explore your interests, inside and outside of the classroom.

You will have opportunities to attend social events or join a student club. You might also like to play extracurricular sports or, if you live on campus, become involved in your residence community. In this section you’ll learn more about student life at Laurentian.

Security

Campus Security takes your safety seriously. Around-the-clock security guards monitor the campus, and video surveillance and emergency phones are situated around the campus. Campus Security also offers you programs aimed at students who stay late at night or work alone on campus.

A late-night shuttle service called Safe Ride helps will get you home safely, and security guards in the Work Alone program will routinely check up on you after hours.
